Coffee table model railway in N-scale (build story)

Placeholder for my build progress on my IKEA coffee table model railway.  This will need to be a multi-part story (i.e. more than one post) because there are many steps involved.  Something like: Part 1:  Overview and base IKEA table, materials needed.  Baseboard build. Part 2:  Track plan and operational details.  Track laying. Part 3:  Controllers and electronics installation and first test run. Part 4:  Scenics e.g. grass, buildings, sheep & cows etc.

DIY cat litter cabinet (build story)

This is a placeholder for the DIY cat litter cabinet we're going to make for our three boys.  We've looked at options from IKEA, specifically kitchen cabinets since those are the only ones large enough for two litter boxes.  Before we commit to buying one of those though (they're CA$250) we're going to check for second hand, since that'd be cheaper and also yay recycling.  Pictures and build steps to follow.
